Does translucent acetate scratch easily? Polished acetate has a denser surface than standard injection-moulded plastic, which makes it more resistant to everyday micro-scratches. With the basic habit of storing in the case, the finish stays true for years without losing its clarity.
Does the brown lens work in any light? Yes — it's one of the most versatile lenses in eyewear. Earthy brown cuts glare without darkening the world too much, which makes it well-suited to both overcast days and bright sun. It boosts contrast without distorting colours the way grey lenses sometimes do.
Will the bevelled shape suit my face? The Targa SL's geometry was designed to be universally flattering: the bevelled corners soften the look without losing structure, which works well for oval, longer, and squarer face shapes alike. A shape that balances rather than neutralises.
Does acetate warp in the heat? Acetate is naturally thermoplastic — a property that allows an optician to fine-tune the fit without compromising the structure. At normal use and storage temperatures, it won't warp. Just avoid leaving it inside a closed car on a hot, sunny day.

  • Store in the case when not in use — protects the polished surface from scratches

  • Always remove with both hands — this stops the frame twisting out of shape

  • It varies by garment — each product page lists the exact fabric composition. As a rule, we prioritise natural and technical blends that hold structure and age well: cotton-linen mixes, structured wovens, and mid-weight knits. We don't use flimsy synthetic fillers to cut cost.
  • Always follow the care label inside the garment. For most pieces: cold machine wash, inside out, gentle cycle. Avoid tumble drying where possible — air drying preserves shape and fabric integrity far longer. Linen blends especially benefit from a light iron while slightly damp.
